Does anyone have an idea what this macrophyte is that recently started to grow from the wood?

Other species growing on the wood are presently java moss and java fern, so when I first spotted this and it was smaller I guessed it might have been from either of those. But the bigger it gets, the less sure I get.

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,
Other species growing on the wood are presently java moss and java fern
They (and your Frogbit (Limnobium laevigatum)) look pretty healthy.
looks like staghorn algae
I know what you mean, but I think it is too green and the branching doesn't look quite right. I'm pretty sure it is a <"Green Algae">.
I'm thinking it is probably an algae rather than a vascular plant as it is incredibly thin
It looks like it might be a <"Cladophora sp.">, they have <"branching filaments">.

cheers Darrel
