Mystery white cobweb algae?

Did my normal weekly 40% w/c on my 25L shrimp tank today. Dosed with 2.5ml of tmc nutrafeed during also. Within a couple of hours I had quite a bit of a white sort of cobweb algae in the tank. Tank is about 3 months old and I've not had any algae problems so far. Nothing has changed in my routine so I'm a bit confused by firstly, what this is, and secondly, why its appeared.

Mental, woke up this morning and it was all gone. Very weird.

I've just noticed the same thing in my shimp tank a few days after popping some more plants in.
