nutrafin co2 kit

picked up a nutrafin co2 kit and come otgher aquarium stuff from a carboot sale today,
was wondering what i should use inside it, like for the co2?
i know i need sugar and yeast, but what sort of amounts?
also the ladder diffuser that came with it has a small crach in the middle of it so what sort of diffusers do you reccommend instead?

Hi there,

I have a couple of these and you need to fill up to the bottom line with sugar, add 1/2 tsp. bicarbonate of soda, and 1/4 tsp. of yeast and top it up with warm/lukewarm water.

For a diffuser I bought one on ebay which has worked really well, I'm not sure what constitutes advertising on here so pm me if you're interested and i will forward details.

Follow the steps above, on cannister is good for a 60 litre tank, I used two on my Juwel Rio 125 to great effect.
But I did have to make the solution once a week, changed one on a Sunday and the other on a Wednesday.

Search on ebay for Nano Diffusers and you can usually get 3 for a fiver!
