Hello,
I came across the forum while doing research. Decided to see how you do things over there.
I am in process of building a stand and setting up a new planted tank. It will be 48"x12"x16", what we call a "40 long", about 150 liters. I am trying to remember to take pics & document it to post later.

Hi & welcome - why do you call a 48'' tank a 40 long?

A regular 40gal is 36"x15"x16".
A 40 tall is 30"x12"x25".
A 40 breeder is 36"x18"x16".
And a 40 long is 48"x12"x16".
Of course the "40 gallon" is approximate for these.
I should probably say that I live in Florida, US.
