Can anyone tell me what moss this is on the fossilised wood?

It looks like either Taxiplyllum sp. 'Peacock' to me but I'm not sure... Anyone else have any idea? I could of course ask the TGM chaps, but thought I'd ask here first :)

I wondered about taiwan, which is where I was getting Peacock from. Aquamoss lists peacock as looking like a tighter version of taiwan :)

I just love how compact it is. Looks very dense and almost carpet like :)

    weeping moss is nice too.

  6. The only moss that has gone in there is "christmas" and although we have had a couple of slight variants in store marked as such we believe it to be this.It would not be beyond the realms of possibility however that a slight labelling mix up may have occurred at Tropicas end.

This is a particularly beautiful moss though and if any of you have any specific ideas we would be interested to share them.

When you look closely, it does actually look like very closely pruned Christmas moss, at least it does to me anyway. There's a frond growing upwards from the top that is most definitely identical to a frond of Christmas moss.

Nice pruning though, makes it look really spongy. ;)
