Plant melt

Hi,

Whats causing my aponogeton leaves to go brown and melt? I recently had a small crypt melt as well.

I dose with N P K once a week and add easy carbo daily. My substrate has been in 2/3 years does it need changing/ trace elements added. I only see pearling when I do a water change.

Hi. What's your tank's volume & how much light do you have in there please? ( T5 lights / T8 lights and respective wattage)

if you're dosing daily carbon you'll be increasing your plant's nutrient demands across the board, so i'd say add a comprehensive fert regime and that should sort it out. NPK once a week and no micros doesn't sound enough to maintain plant health i'm afraid! Hope this helps, Matt
