Plant profiles: Parrots Feather, Dwarf Sagittaria, Ophiopogon Japonicus

Hello,

does anyone have any advice for these plants: Parrots Feather , Dwarf Sagittaria, Ophiopogon Japonicus?

Especially this Ophiopogon Japonicus I have read it is not an aquatic plant but it doesn't look like it would be able to survive out of the tank!

O. Japonicus isnt a true aquatic plant, may survive for a couple of months submerged, but thats about it. Also you may have difficulty sourcing the parrots feather, it has been banned for import, due to fear of getting into rivers/lakes.http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/content.php?sid=5454

Sagittaria subilata is a beast, if you was an easy foreground /large unkempt carpet plant then dwarf sag grows wild.

I would say no, nice pot plant for the bathroom possibly.

Ophiopogon Japonicus grows for a while submerged because it's a very strong plant, after a while it will die ...you would probably be able to grow it in the garden easier
