Please help me identify this wierd moss

    Hi everyone!
    I am an brazilian guy in a brazilian place without many plants news, believe or not.
    I friend of my brought a wierd moss. His not know it name, just said "an japanese moss".
    Well, I tryed search on web and I can't find any moss likely!
    Anyone in across the Atlantic know what species it is?

    just complementing ....
    This is not a plant. No roots or something. Growth is moderate and my nano no fertile substrate or CO2.

    Hi, It's not a moss, it's Najas sp. (graminea maybe).

    Same thought as Mike, definitely a vascular plant and probably a Najas spp.

    .... for me it's an wierd plant. There is no roots! Odd. Well... a little disappointed here, hehe

    Yeah tell me about it, I was hunting for juncus repens for a couple of years and when I finally found it here in my country the guy I ordered from sent me the one in your picture. :lol:
    Fortunately I now have the right one but I won't forget that Najas soon. :)
