Please Id these rocks.

I put vinegar on it and it didn't seem to do anything. There is some.darker colors in them when wet its easier to see.

Small flakes of shiny clear looking stuff. It scratches and creates a dust or powder when I scratch it with a nail.

Any ideas? Should I break one to get a better idea?

A granite type rock. Igneous volcanic rock. I could be wrong

I believe you are right, after talking with some people I believe them to be granite rock as well. I do have some smaller ones but there are some mixes and color variation and maybe even the type of rock is slightly different but they will work fine for the Aquarium
