Hi Photographers
I had the above camera for a while.
I'm a novice using cameras.... can anyone give me pointers on getting the best out of this camera.
Setting up the camera for aquarium shots.Or is it just a naff camera.

I can't comment on that particular camera but here's a few tips that work for any point and shoot -

1. Use a tripod and self-timer to avoid any camera shake.
2. Shoot square on to the tank, especially macro (close-up).
3. Turn off ambient lights to avoid reflections.
4. Supplement light above tank if possible.
5. Experiment with different white balance settings, shooting modes, exposure compensation etc.
6. Use as low ISO as possible (usually ISO 100). Your fish may be blurred but the image will have less noise.
7. Think about composition. Position focal points carefully in the frame.
