I was thinking of turning my old Clearseal aquarium into a new vivarium for my pet toad Clive (see my Avatar). The silicone needs replacing and I was going to replace the front panel with Optiwhite glass (the viv will be top opening).
My questions are:-
What is the best method of siliconing in the front panel (any tips on finish welcome also)?
And secondly, can the rest of the silicone just be shored up with a new layer of silicone over the top, or will it all need replacing completely?
