Hello guys,

First question for you, have any of you removed the bottom plastic trim from any Fluval Uno tank? I have an old 600 that I will be setting up as a Shrimp tank and wanting to remove the skirt.

I do not think it does much to stop the tank exploding but after a second opinion

Here it is all cleaned up ready to go sitting on some foam, as long as it is ok without the skirt lol

I didn't have the sack to remove the bottom trim off my 12gal.

It's not a Fluval though, no idea what it is.

LOL, I have approx 10kg of rock in it and 3/4 full of water so will give it 24hrs and see what happens. All fine so far
