Hi all,

I have a 20L shrimp tank with amazonia substrate. I have a couple of pieces of boxwood in there, along with a few plants but I want to swap it out for some dragon stone I have lying about.

But if I disturb the amazonia will it release loads of ammonia into the water? I have no fish in the tank but do have a handful of cherries. My water is good, as far as my test kit can be trusted. No pro balms and the babies seem to be doing well.

Any thoughts?

I know people say it can leach for up to 2 months, id guess the amount would minimal unless you heavy handed anyway...
Bit of a discussion going on about whether it would effect your shrimp here if you havent spotted it-
