You are perhaps right about unbalance. Rather than make the left side heavier I would make the right side lighter = smaller "big" stone (but I guess I already said something like that). Alternatively, place a bigger stone in the left corner, rather than the two medium sized.

bad luck with my cardinals...I had to use medication that kills bacteria and now I have to start all over, that's not so bad cause I have some bact. balls that seemed to do it last time pretty fast BUT my plants look like they are about to die.... ....I will do a water change of about 40 to 50% and will put some active carbon into the filter to get the 'poison' out...is there anything else I can do to safe my plants??????? O yeah, I fert. EI way

Thanks...I had/have some problem with brown algae and just did a 4 day blackout...now I slowly start again with low light

A little update....
After a 4 day blackout and turning down on light hours, it seems that the brown algae are retrieving and plants seem to be more happy to.
Changed the spray bars to acrylic DIY ...

The black background was no longer needed so that's gone too and without a background I could use my sunset light (maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it and it's only on for 15 minutes)
