I'll get a picture up later, but in the meantime, here's a description:
Small (at present?), 1-3mm diameter shell
Shell is a circular coil, flat (i.e. like a disc).
Shell is at right angles to the snail (like a set of helicopter rotors).
I've had these appear in the last couple of days in my big tank, which is strange since I haven't added anything "foreign" for many many weeks now. Hopefully my botia striata will deal with them, but at the moment they don't appear interested.
They look a bit like the "small ramshorns" in the link below, but I'll get a picture anyways in case there are ID nuances that I'm missing.
