... where can I get something to hold the tank water?

I've looked in B&Q but nothing.

Is it worth doing or fill up from fresh?

Just that I'm doing 50% water changes every other day atm.

Plus, they'll be pretty unstable in the van.

You could try storage containers, like these: http://store.uhaul.com/image_handler.as ... ter&id=205 cheap enough if you shop around. They may not seal tight, but its better than nothing :D

Try to save as much water as possible without making it difficult for yourself :) 10%, 20%, whatever you can manage.

    How big is the tank?

You can get 25L jerrycan water carriers from most outdoor shops, possibly even bigger. There's also the aquaroll range that do about 40L but they're more expensive. (have a quick search on ebay too, there were a few on there last time I checked). The advantage of these is that they all screw up water-tight!

Jerrycan, that's the word i needed to search by. I couldn't think what they were called! Doh!

I've managed to ask a mate who gets 25 ltr ones through work and they only store distilled water before they get it and then they chuck the cans away. Might be able to get them for a beer. 8)

Some shops will lend containers used to hold RO water to people. You'll probably need to be well known/a regular for them to do it, but it sounds like you've got it sorted anyway.

Getting closer and closer. It's a week on Saturday now.
Loads still to organised. Not been able to get the jerrycans at the minute.
Thinking of getting a cheap bin/water but and leave it in the truck and fill it with buckets/hose.
