Hi guys,
I picked one of these beautiful gobies up today for 6.95(euro).
Anybody got any good info on them ? They're in a 30L with glowlights, dwarf flame gourami and RCS.

Haven't kept these myself but by all accounts they're fairly straightforward, with the caveats of intra-specific aggression and needing well oxygenated, fast flowing water and a constant supply of algae to graze on. Not sure you'll be able to really cater for their long term needs in a 30L community.

What would you recommend I do then? I have a large tank with algae covered rocks - I could place one of these in every so often ?

Sounds good. Some people set up 'algae farms' full of rocks to rotate in and out of the tanks for these sort of fish.

I was back home in Ireland this week, and the LFS had 2 of them but didnt know what they were. I just knew their names, nothing about them. But even though they didn't know what they were, I still had to get her down to €6.95.

I have not seen any Stiphodon Simoni where I have been looking in the UK. Good find, and sounds like a good buy.

They are sometimes sold as Sumatran Cobalt Blue Goby.. but they aren't from Sumatra? Weird.
