Indeed. I understand the importance of flow..and this unusual shape I want to make sure there is good flow all around.
I have a Sicce 5000 L/H return pump that will be used in the sump. Hopefully I won't need any wave makers

you could stick a powerhead in the sump and keep some hillstreams or plecos
