Last weekend I introduced three honey gourami which settled in fine. Then, this weekend after more clear safety tests for ammonia and nitrite, I added 6 small amano shrimp and a dozen more juvenile (wild) cardinals to take the shoal up to 16. They should all mature with the tank and grow in nicely with the plants. AqAdvisor says I have plenty of capacity still, I might add some more Otos once the tank has had a chance to mature.

Not a great few weeks since my last post, I found two of the original cardinals dead on separate occasions and two of the guppies just vanished without a trace. On top of this, the shrimp keep ending up in the filter sock and the cardinal shoal hides behind the Bolbitis. On the plus side, the gourami and Oto seem happy, and the plants are doing well with minimal melt.

I've been meaning to add the full plant list for a while so here it is:

Bolbitis heudelotii XL
Cryptocoryne usteriana
Cryptocoryne balansae
Nymphaea stellata Bulb
Cryptocoryne undulatus kasselman
Cryptocoryne amicorum
Cryptocoryne willisii
Cryptocoryne undulata Broad Leaves
Cryptocoryne albida Brown
Cryptocoryne lutea
Anubias barteri angustifolia
Bucephalandra kedagang
Anubias nana bonzai

All plants and fish are doing well.

Nice collection of Crypts.

Cryptocoryne amicorum

Never heard of this one. Would you mind sharing a pic?
