that will sure help me, i never get how you have to trim the plant within an inch of its life! i have some E.parvulus (dwarf hair grass i think) and it has never grown, but i havent trimmed it, should i do this?
^ Seperate it into plantlets (just pull the plant apart into clumps just above the root), trim the roots back a bit and then trim the leaves right back. This should promote a lot of new growth.
Nice video, it should help a lot of newbies to planted tanks.
Triming plants is not an issue its spliting them im not always good at. although the amazon swords i asked about when i uprooted it it was already split so that was easy.
If only I'd known to leave the 1cm of wool on my HC when planting
It's been two weeks, and after some initial leaf death and re-birth it seems like it's going okay. Is it a big issue if the wool was fully removed? Will the HC have any problems anchoring itself to the substrate/gravel?
