Tips on growing moss

Hi,
I know that mosses are probably one of the easiest plant families to look after but I never seem to have much luck with getting them to look amazing like you see in many scapes nowadays.
Anyone have any tips that could help ?

Cooler temps lower light intensity keep them very clean.

I to have a problem getting moss to grow. I think my flying foxes eat the new growth and don't allow it to establish.

Cooler temps, good circulation, lots of shrimp, appropriate lighting/nutrients, regular pruning, lots of patience...
