Trimming Utricularia Graminifolia

The small plugs of UG I planted a few weeks ago have grown well but vertically rather than horizontally. Is it best to let it grow or trim it now?

ive never used it, but in my opinion id be inclined to trim it, unless you want it to grow vertically. Trimming could push it to spread a little.

My green neons did trimming for me to such extent it stop growing and I had to remove it from tank. So maybe once a while it is ok.

You could trim a few of the bunches to see what happens and leave the rest
