Uses for half a pot of Monte Carlo

Ok, random question: I’ve half a tropica pot of Monte Carlo going spare. Rather than bung it in the new tank (I’m not optimistic about its success…) has anyone got any better ideas? How does it do emersed? Stick it in wabi ball and hope? Keep in pot in plastic bag for use later when the half I’ve planted all dies off??

100% wabi kusa, they are GREAT - so easy to make, easy to take care for, and if you have them over the side of the aquarium at the top they make beautiful emersed rafts. My new favourite thing!

you can also propagate it using something like this Andys HC propagator step by step
half a pot might turn into 2-3 pots in a few months
