Very approximate evaporation rates?

I will be soon receiving my new 90*50*50 cm(230L) open-topped tank. Water movement will be via an Eheim 600T, 1800LPH, through 75 cm of spraybar mounted about 5 cm under water level. Lighting will be Maxspect razor at 30-45cm above water level, so should not produce undue heat.

Can anyone give me a very vague guesstimate as to evaporation rate per week?

I have to make a decision between a 10litre or 25 litre RO container for auto-topup - I would prefer the 10L but not if I am going to have to change during the week.

Do you mean you have a ball valve auto top up & want to connect that to a RO unit fed from the mains?

A vague guesstimate ... one litre a day, is there a reason to use RO water?

With a surface of 120 x 60. 24 degrees Celcius and a room temp of 20, my water drops about 1,5 cm average in a week, so 10L. I think the guess of foxfish of 1L will be really close!

Agreed.. 1 liter per day at this time of year. I find slightly less in the summer as ambient humidity is higher. I am using the reeflot, I would recommend it.
