Water change suggestions

I use an eheim pump and a hose, pump for taking water out and fill straight from the mixer tap.

If you use decholrinator it would be cheaper to use somthing designed for ponds, or as I do use the powder; Seachem SAFE. It would last more than a year for your tank.
