Hello,

I've got water wisteria in my tank. It's a really lovely looking plant, but it seems to be growing at a right angle!

I don't really understand why, as there is light coming into the tank from every direction. I've had to trim the top part off as it was touching the front of the tank! (It's planted at the back...)

I know that i could tie the plant to a stick to make it grom straight - any ideas? I am still curious though why this plant does this - is it normal?

Tomo :D

hi tomo,

it usually creeps if you have good light.

also whenever you trim it, the shoots grow out at an angle, if you want it to keep growing straight up, you need to keep replanting the shoots, and not trimming the main stems...
