What’s this goop then? Fungus? Bacteria?

After my recent issues with bacteria I’ve become a little bit paranoid about things in my tank. Anyone able to put my mind at ease?

Looks like the fungus that commonly grows on new wood. It’ll go away in time, or faster with snails/shrimp.

It’s a bacterial/fungal growth, it’s harmless, you can rub it free with your hands while in the tank and just let the filter deal with it, alternatively if there’s too much for the filter to handle then just net out the excess. It will eventually go away on its own. Shrimp will eat it.
