What are these snails?

And should I be concerned with them?

I have been squashing them as I’ve noticed more and more and holes in plants which may or may not be related to them.

Rams horn snails, they are pretty harmless to plants, they feed off decaying detritus, excess food and algae in the tank, i like them myself but snails are a controversial subject to some.
 
Yep, that's as big as they get and they don't bother plants. I don't mind them either - they seem much more to scale to me than the big ones people pay to add to their tank.

Cheers guys. I’ll leave them to it then and just intervene if I notice a snail population boom.
