What Co2 system

hi guys
im new to Co2 and im just looking for a bit of advice
currently got a rio 125 planted with lots of anubis nana on bog wood and various other plant,
some doing great and some doing not so great
currently got a tetra optimat Co2 system running on it aswell as adding a liquid fertiliser weekly
im looking to upgrade to a bigger and more effective Co2 system very soon and was just wondering if any one has any tips or info for me
and also if any one knows of any sites to get good set ups from

Hi Robbie and welcome to UKAPS!

If you're on a tight budget then consider a pressurised system using a 2Kg CO2 fire extinguisher.

Dennerle, Dupla and JBL are amongst the best off-the-shelf systems. Fire extinguishers are compatible with most systems.

Another very important aspect to CO2 is the diffusion method.

Inline diffusers are proving very popular and effective but you'll need an external filter.

Glass/ceramic diffusers are ideal for your set-up. Something like a Rhinox 2000 or equivalent.

wow, that fire extinguisher method looks amazing and half the price ive been quoted by the lfs,
i think that is going to be the way ill do it
also another query for you
im only running the two bulbs that came with the juwel set up both with reflectors
is this enough lighting do you think or would more be better?

That's plenty of light for most, if not all plants, especially with good CO2 and other nutrients.

Have to agree with George on that one
I actually took my reflectors off, in the hope it would slow things down a bit.

cheers guys....im currently using a liquid fertilizer(nitrate and phosphate free.
adding 10ml per week
is this enough do you think?
any tips on other nutrients you guys could recommend

Yes, get something that is nitrate and phosphate RICH instead, like Tropica Plant Nutrition+
