I've just been toying with the idea of changing the lava rock in my tank for something else and got to thinking... What on earth do the people that rescape regularly do with all the hardscape they remove? Surely if you keep it all for future use it'd fill a room!!

Similar, I have various bits lying on the patio, or in tubs outside too. I also have a small crate with some sands and rock in the cupboard under my stairs.

Dedicated cupboard in garage. I leave some wood soaking in my rain butt in the garden.

Lordy! Must be nice to have the space to store it -- I can just hear my husband now... "What do you need more for, you just spent a fortune on the last lot!".

I'm sure people on here would pay a bomb for some of your hardscape material.

(Me if I was wanting to rescape.)

Shed, or as garden features (as is the case with some monster slate).

Of course, sometimes my old hardscape is the perfect excuse for a new tank/scape
