what is the best budget filter?

I need a new filter for my malawi biotope it is a 180L tank i have no more than £100 to spend any ideas?

i am looking at the fluval 405 or the Tetratec EX1200?

I like my 5 Tetratec EX1200's Not so keen on the Fluval 205 I had - out dated design IMO.

Thnaks for your reply, i have a 205 on my planted tank and i cant fault it realy seems ok! i think i might go for the Tetratec EX1200 though.

on that size tank and considering its malawi's i would use 2x ex1200's

i do have a spair filter which i will throw on to bump up the filteration it is 500 l/h so total i will have 1700 l/h and will let me direct the flow a bit more.

I have sorted out a EX1200 which i will pick up tomorow.
