What is this moss and can I use it in my tank?

What is this moss

It may be Brachythecium rutabulum <http://www.bbsfieldguide.org.uk/sites/default/files/pdfs/mosses/Brachythecium_rutabulum.pdf>.

and can I use it in my tank?

Probably not long term, but you could try it, it grows on stream banks, as well as in a lot of drier places.

It is quite reminiscent of Tropica's Fontinalis antipyretica 'Willow'.

My suspicion is that this is not a true aquatic. I have it, though, and it grows fairly well.
