What time of day for easy carbo?

I read that pressurised Co2 units generally require the system to start an hour before lighting up time and off an hour after the lights go out. Would this be true if using easy carbo or can you dose anytime?

I would say it's probably best to add Easycarbo just before lights on.

However, I add mine first thing in the morning, and the lights aren't on until 3pm, so I guess it doesn't really matter...

I used to dose everyday when I got up along with the ferts.
If I ever forgot its not a big deal to skip a day now and then.
