Got this big vase from a friend. Any ideas?? It has a slight crack in the bottom but it doesn't seem to be leaking. Could attack it with silicon to be safe...
Yup, but not for standard vivarium plants or emersed aquatic plants unless you can ensure good air movement and high light, otherwise you will grow mushrooms and leggy plants. I would put some gravel and pieces of moss trimmings. Put it in a windowsill and be patient... but you will be awarded with a nice and self-sufficient micro habitat. I would close it just enough to keep humidity but allow some passive ventilation...
