Hi Guys Based On Your Personal Experience Can You Suggest Me Which Fertilizer Is Good For Dutch Style Planted Aquarium Either Seachem Or 2Hrs Aquarius Or Any Thing Else Kindly Suggest Me

Making your own un-blended solutions from dry salts is the best way to go. Commercial blends are (a) try and see, (b) usually incomplete, anyway, and (c) much more expensive.
I suppose getting dry salts for small money is easier in India than in Europe.

2Hr Aquarist APT EI is on the stronger side, although you will have to double dose to get full EI levels. It is my understanding you would have to dose a lot of seachem to hit similar levels.

How can you tell what blend of nutrients you need without knowing what kind of water you're about to pour it into????

I have experience usingTropica Specialised Nutrition in my "too messy to be Dutch style" aquarium. :)

However, the concern is that your question assumes that success in a Dutch tank is somehow related to the brand of fertiliser you buy, rather than more important factors such as your maintenance regime, optimisation of CO2 and flow, and even lighting.

Well I think that comes with experience, but we all need to start somewhere. For me APT gives me Estimative Index Levels, but as you rightly pointed out there could be other factors that means you need to tweak. I for instance have to also dose iron & manganese as well. Other people might not need to do that.

I think EI levels and theory can be a good starting point for people, and if you are not confident yet in mixing dry salts, or find it daunting, then perhaps an all in one product targeted at EI levels is an option

Hi Sai
In reality no fertiliser is better than the other. It’s a complex and heated debate. Why don’t you get what is available to you and use it as per the instructions. Then after a few weeks you can make adjustments. With the new Tropica soil you probably don’t need to add fertiliser just as yet until the plant growth takes off.
Are you using CO2 in the tank?

Yes Mike I am using Co 2 in all my three tanks and two of them with new tropical so being new soil I am not using fertilizer as you said here every thing is available but cost matters but I am holding seachem NPK and Fe And trace its five of them

Well if you have seachem continue with that. It will be more cost effective to make your own fertiliser mix in the longterm with 3 tanks. You could source the chemicals from a hydroponic supplier. Is there an aquarium group in India that you can ask where to source the ingredients from? The recipe I linked above is very easy to DIY from readily available chemicals.

DIY TPN+ (1)
3.8g Ammonium Nitrate
2.2g Monopotassium Phosphate
10g Potassium Sulphate
17g Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate (Epsom Salts)
0.5g E300 Ascorbic Acid
0.2g E202 Potassium Sorbate
5g EDTA Chelated Trace Elements Mix (TNC Trace, CSM+B)
500ml distilled water

Assuming sai_786 it's a small aquarium then just go for a all in one with cost and reliability. All your looking for is all 14 essential nutrients, two examples TNC complete and Tropica ,both are complete with nutrients, slightly tweaked percentages of salts. I use TNC works out cheaper. If it's a large aquarium mix your own salts with help on here

Agreeing with PARAGUAY that for smaller aquariums it makes sense to use all-in-one type such as TNC or 2HR's equivalent. This worked great for me for my first couple tanks that were 15 or 30 gallons. But now with separate 60 and 90 gallon systems, I burned through my remaining all-in-one bottles very quickly trying to keep up with demand and now have bought everything I need to mix my own micros and macros.

OK what is the difference between dosing All hl One like 2Hrs aquarist or Seachem seperate bottles Of NPK And Fe And trace will apt All in One Provide All those above mentioned ingredients

I don't use any of these ,so l can't really say but they give good results off what l read, but is there a magic ingredient? Well no because all you need is 14 essential nutrients, both of what l read are a system of fertilising and for me l prefer mixing my own salts or using a all in one with all essential nutrients, cost is a factor
