I have to moce my tank (80x40x40cm) from this blue furniture:

With the tank on top it will hang out with 15 cm in each side.
The tank is a akvastabil tank with a aluminium frame all the way around.
Next picture shows the 15 cm: 16229708498002799197888595208180.jpg

Should i worry about this? No go? Or where are we at?

Thanks.

I would be constantly worried about it. 15cm is a big overhang.

Your tank is 80cm x 40cm x 40cm. that would be 128L. 128Kg
So you would have 24Kg hanging over both edges.
Simple bending moment would give you 235N x 0.15m = 35.25Nm
Trying to bend the whole tank.

I would put something like this

on each side. You could make them yourself (15cm deep and 15 cm high).

Or, better still, get a piece of 18mm ply 80cm x 40 cm and then put some nice brackets under the overhang like the shelfs ones.
The ply would then become the canter leaver and not the tank.

I would not advise this. The unit would hold the weight looking at it. Can you get a bit of wood as advised above to make a larger top? Lots of tank stands have an overhang on the wooden top to the base. Just make sure you use a material which has some water resistance
