Wowarae ricefish

Hi guys I got myself 6 wowarae ricefish a few months ago from Kesgrave tropicals. I am looking to breed these guys but I don't how to sex them I know I have males as they display to each and is quite a stunning site. Any help would be great.

Hi all,
I haven't seen any yet, but it looks like they are quite an easy fish to keep and breed. Look for a paired/fused anal fin and work from there, Paws for though in leeds is attempting to breed them currently and has some holding eggs but no sucessful fry when I last was in.

Well I think that mine are all males. I read the link in the previous post and it said that the females are a yellowish colour and mine are all blue. I will try to get a good shot of all of them together so you guys can take a look.Although a few have red bellies going from the mouth to the start of the anal fin.

I think there are also some closely related sp. to O.wowarae that have similar colouration although I think even more red marking and a stronger blue. cant remember its name though.
