Zebra nerites and ramshorns

Hello all,

Can I ask people's experience with ramshorn snails in planted tanks?

Right now I have nerites, that are cool and all; but the egg laying is starting to annoy me, its constant razoring tank sides to remove them.

I have the opportunity to pick up some ramshorn snails, but I've seen them in my dad's tank eating anubias; so I wanted to check here first before jumping in. Are carpet plants and other aquascaping type plants at risk?

I'be never known snails eat healthy plants.
