Zero pressure, user error?

Hi all,

Just set up my co2 kit and filled my tank today. The CO2 kit went together fine, and I heard gas flowing as I tightened the regulator to the canister, following the instructions word for word. Working pressure initially read slightly lower than advertised on the sodastream website at about 850PSI, and working pressure was at around 50PSI. I've had the kit running now for just about an hour, and the pressure has dropped to zero, with a working pressure of 20.

Is this me being stupid or have I been sold a bad bottle?

Ok, seems to be fixed. It appeared to have blocked itself somehow - I loosened the regulator from the canister slightly and gas began to flow again. Re-tightened and now have correct pressures. Will monitor to see if it drops to zero again.
