I use a Fluval with a Hydor 300, I had to replace the tube with Eheim as I couldn't get a good fit with the ribbed stuff. I'm not sure of the connections under the profiles I'm afraid

Hello, I'm using an Azoo regulator with the solenoid however I'm having issues with the solenoid sticking. Its also started to smell really bad so I've decided it needs replacing. What do people recommend? I've been looking at the aqua medic one for around £35. Any suggestions much appreciated.

I have two fluvals and find i have to give them a good shake, including tilting them all directors to work all the air out. You should find that they become alot quieter once all the air is out.

I have replaced my 305's with Eheim tubing too. I have been advised to poke it into the ribbed hose just to go over the rim as it is a tight fit. However im yet to do this

I found a Hozelock equivalent in The Range for £1.99, and it seems to be working a treat. This will certainly make my 50% water changes alot easier :D

I'm quite liking the mixer tap option as my tank is close to the kitchen. Also using hot water from the boiler is probably alot cheaper than having the 200w heater heat the water up over a couple of hours.

I have figured out that these bends are to help you position the hose, there are two because of the different size hoses on the smaller filters. I feel like a muppet.

That's what I thought, but the bends don't fit together. One of the bends allows a pipe to sit in it partially, however they are only halves. One bigger than the other. I've emailed Hagen to see what they say, but its not very good for a kit.
