Yeah will try hang it a bit above, going for a long wood out the tank too so hopefully the A430 will be good enough to cover the space.

What filter are you running?

Tank is still livestock free except my new army of planaria. Is there a recommended dosage or just bung a packet of (I'm assuming) granules in? Tank is 70l. I could just empty the tank completely but I want to make sure the buggers are dead regardless.

WD40 silicone spray contains a lot of other additives, to include the propellant. I would keep that far away from my aquarium. Just get standard silicone grease. You'll find it in the plumbing section of most hardware stores. A tiny little tub will last you forever.

I use Silicone grease for use on potable water fittings for things like O rings and impeller shafts.

Pretty standard body shape for a large aging mirror carp, they always tend to get the hunch back and big belly. A similar look to Chris Yates British record Mirror at 51lb 8oz - caught in 1980 from Redmire and thought to be one of the original stock fish.

Yes. Livestock usually experience stress when water parameters change dramatically. You could avoid that by slowly increasing the level of co2 slowly over a period of time. 👍🏻
