I have the oase biomaster 850 from some time. What I see for now and I'm not happy about it :) The prefilter sponges make the biggest problem. I tried 20, 30, 45 ppi. With finer sponges the filter is louder with 20 ppi, he is ok but after 4-5 days he starts to get loader. No lose at flow, but...

I found my problem, the hose were little under pressure. Can't believe that this can cause so much air in the filter. Now he is dead silent.

I always used Eheim, just choosed to move to oase biomaster 850, the flow is great everything is great, except the constantly air purging, which I can't fix and the canister is still few months old.

So you think better to remove all mechanical inside the filter and left only on pre-filter, the flow for sure will be better:)

I'm waiting for my oase biomaster 850 and more I read more I starting to think to left him as he is with so much mechanical filtration in him. I though to remove all and put in pumice with purigen on top and left mechanical only for pre-filter, but why?

Co2supermarket have some splitter attached direct on your regulator. This is cheapest good opinion.

Try to see if you have leak over night. Close the cylinder valve and see if the pressure is lower on the morning. Make this first. Next is fault needle valve, but first watch for some leaks. About bps everything is possible, depends from many things.

So nothing worked so good, but after I set the reactor on 1350 lph pump, it's stopped to build a pocket. The dissolved rate is little better, but not so much. Everything else on reactor is on default.

I use wrg 2, which use same led as vivid 2. I have very good red when run on 100 red, 20 green and 80 blue and under 10 nitrates, but be careful to not go to zero. Most important for me is good co2 level at light start and very good flow in tank.

My is yellow but with some green in there, not exactly pure yellow. You will be able to drop faster with more surface agitation and more injection rate.

Hi, my water is like your around kh6 and when my ph drop under 6.5 ph the fauna start to be upset. They are little better with a lot surface agitation, but you will lose a lot co2. Ceg, what you mean only 5 hours, during photo period or total?

I found, how to remove the gas pocket, just installed a tube on purge, which returns to aquarium. Will try to see, what will be dissolved rate, while purge is constantly very little open. I'm not sure, which away will be better with gas pocket or without. Will tell next days :)

I will try, but first will observe, how much ph rise, if I stop co2, maybe 2 hours before lights off. My photo period is 7 hours. Just to be safe, I stop it now 1 before lights off.

Ok, I understand to not do anything :) Other thing which I saw due the built gas pocket after co2 off, my ph drop very slow. I'm thinking to shut off co2 earlier due this, but will observe it more to be sure I have enough co2 levels.

Zeus, had you fixed the gas pocket or you don't care about it :) I saw something about putting inline atomizers, before reactor can fix this, but I'm not so sure. I think you tried something like this in your setup.

Hi, I have AM reactor 1000, which I run with eheim 4 pro 600. The problem, which I had is that he builds too much gas pocket at top of the reactor, which at the end of co2 period is half of his length. I'm not so sure, if this is problem, the pocket is removed for 3 hours after co2 stops...

If his kh is 5, 5.9 ph is not right. Something about ph measure seems little odd.

I suggest to add enough surface agitation and after this start upping co2 till the fish are little stressed. When you reach this, just back the co2 a little back and this must be ok. Aim to reach the max drop before lights on, it can take a week to reach optimal levels, but it's ok.

Have you drop checker or something else to measure the co2 level, because probably 3 bps is low on 200 litre. I'm injecting a lot more with lower kh on same size aquarium.

Hi, I'm restarting my tank and will use new dannerle scaper's soil + 2 cycled filters and 50% of old water + a lot from previous plants. My question, what level of EI to start dosing. I think to start with 50% for 1 week and move to full dose after. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

In the moment, I'm more for co2supermarket and Zeus said, that they are good.

Both are with low max working pressure, even jbl is with pre-setled i think. Maybe if you run single co2 line, they can be good, but for bigger tanks with two lines, they can't run two atomizers i think. Not so sure.

I'm not sure, if it ups the Ph, but I know that Green Aqua use it in all there aquariums and they says it not rising Ph. I can trust them a bit, when I look on their aquariums :)

I think you must lower the light intensity and period of lighs on. Its to much for new tank. Maybe around 50% and max 6 hours.

I upped a lot my Mg to match EI level, not sure why aquariumplantfood.co.uk recipe is so broken. No K2S04 and Mg dosage is so low in it. After increased dosage my plants starting to look better even after a day. Will post after week, how is going.

I took already some tops and replanted them, too little side shoots for a week. Will wait a little bit more. Will try to dose 50% more macros+some extra Fe. About flow it's 26x. Can't be more :). Next thing will be to stop one of the bulb, if things not going better.
