Well after alot of planning I've got the tank more or less looking like I thought it would. Thanks, I'm at work so can't look at my set now, but another question, the guage that comes with the set does that measure the pressure going into the tank? one valve is the course pressure and the other is for fine adjustments is that right?

Got my D-D complete CO2 set delivered the other day, and the instructions are a little sparse to be honest, I’ve got it all connected up, checked for leaks etc, but there are no instructions for what to set it at as far as the pressure and valves go. Could anyone here with a set let me know...

Ok thanks for that, I'm wanting to upgrade my lights as the 32 gal tank only came with 36 watts T8 in total.

Thanks for the replys, on to my next question now. If I were to get 2 of the Hagen Glo T5HO lights I'd have a total of 96w, which would be exactly 3WPG(medium high). Would that amount of light need CO2 to keep the algae away, also my filter has x6 turnerover per hour? Thanks again.

Don't know if anyone could help but I've got a question about the lighting differences of T5 & T8. If the standard WPG rule applies to T8 lighting what would the equvilent be for T5? For instance if I I've got a 32Gal tank and I put a 48W T5 setup on there what would the equvilent be for T8...

I've started dosing my planted tank with TPN+ & Flouish Excel. I was wondering if you have to remove the Carbon pad from my external filter in order for my plants to get the minerals? As I know the carbon filter need removing when you add fish medication to the tank. Thanks.

Thanks, I don't use any actually, I've doing some reading up yesterday on why the leaves had started curling I figured out I'll need to start adding fertilizer as there was a defficency(can't remember which one). I'd only been using Flurish Excel EasyCarb, as I was told by the guy at the LFS...

I was looking at getting a Hagen T5 Glo Light Luminaire the one I'd found was a 2x24w one, for about £55, but a 4x24w Arcadia one is getting on for £300 :shock: Surely it'd be better just getting two Hagen ones for about a third of the price, or are the Arcadia ones that much better?
