The ADA SOLAR Mini M is 37cm long, and that includes the support, so the actual light housing is even smaller, so it's too small really. You can get many alternatives that aren't so expensive, and then use the money that you saved to buy a bigger tank. :mrgreen:

Re: Andyh's New 190l Lounge tank. It's Begun! I'd probably try it without, it kind of disrupts the flow of the wood. Without it your eyes will be drawn towards the main hardscape, rather than being distracted by the rock on the right. :)

It should be Weeping moss if it's the stuff I sent you. It's been floating for a few months so has probably turned a bit stringy because of that, the bits that are attached to the wood in my tank do weep. If it's not Weeping moss, blame Ed Seeley because I got it from him a couple of years...

The ribbed hosing has the smooth rubber on each end, and the inlet and outlets are designed to fit onto this. They won't fit onto the normal, smooth hosing that you'd be replacing the ribbed hosing with. Therefore, you'll need to buy some inlets and outlets that are designed to be used with...

I don't think it would, as the CO2's a gas not an organism that can be killed. The yeast in the bottle or wherever you've got it wouldn't come into contact with the UV steriliser, so it shouldn't make a difference. Why are you looking to install a steriliser? Very few people running...

If the ribbed hosing's on a Fluval, you can replace it with normal smooth tubing that the atomiser would fit onto. You'd need to replace the inlet and outlets too though, as they're designed for ribbed hose and not smooth stuff. :wink:

I had a similar problem with the air on my ex1200, the leak first, and then the air got worse after the hose adapter was replaced. I got backm on the phone to Tetra, and they then replaced the entire motorhead, saying it might have been damaged by the air getting in through the adapter...
