Don't think so but it doesn't have to go in, it comes with a attachment that allows a hose to be fitted to the intake so it should be fine.

Wonderful aquarium, the Ember Tetras are going to look fantastic once they mature.

I've used it in the past but it does not neutralise chloramines. The ammount of Vit C used is too small to have much of an impact on hardness od acidity.

I'm about to start using Vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid) as it is supposed to take out both chlorine and chloramines. Has anyone else used this?

In Edinburgh Eden Aquatics usually have some nice plants. There is also a branch of Maidenhead here but the last time I was in the plants looked to be in a poor condition.

I agree. Cory's are able to get oxygen directly from the air, you'll often see them swimming up to the surface for a gulp. Hydrogen sulphide is very toxic so if a cory were to disturb a pocket of hydrogen sulphide it may be enough to kill it. There's also the posibility that if there are...

I believe that Vitamin C neutralises both free chlorine and chloramine but I don't know the dosage you would need.

I've got these on my three tanks the pressure is between 50 and 60 psi so you should be fine with these.
