Will be interesting, most of the cliff scapes in my memory go from left - right, so it will be nice to see one the other way.

Looks like a promising start, I found the plants responded better to leaving a bit of a gap in the clingfilm and not sealing it entirely. However completely sealing it has worked for many other people but it is something to bear in mind.

Damn, just spent 3 hours going round different garden/diy centers and visited a fich shop...no lava rock.. ordered some online now. Hopefully it gets here before the moss.

Ebay mate, I ordered some weeping moss (unsure about using this after further reading), star moss and flame moss. I also ordered a load of "Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae" before realising it will dwarf everything in the tank. (Damn my impulse buying!...Will be on sale here soon if anyone wants it.)...

Im concerned about the growth rate of moss without injected co2. I really would use something other than java moss also.

Such an improvement (not taking anything away from your original work) Ive been trying to get a planted tank going since January but have failed twice so far and I will admit I am loosing patience with it but after seeing what you have achieved I think I will have to try again and try harder :)

Just flooded my tank yesterday after failing/getting impatient with the DSM... Put some excel in and turned the co2 up and within 24hours the HC has gone a much nicer green and i swear i see growth! :)
