    H2O2 and Fe

Thanks Michael. My Fe uses DTEA, but I will have to look what my other nutrients are using as chelator. But perhaps when my algea issues are reducing, I will take away the oxydator. H

    H2O2 and Fe

Thanks all for replyes. Apreciated. I was struggling with some algea issues a month ago, so I started adding H2O2 in an oxydator with continius peroxide release 24/7. Some week later I see my stemplant (Limnof aromatica ) stunned of a bit, and plants are not bubbling like they used to. So I...

    H2O2 and Fe

OK. I supose it is not known how hydrogen peroxide interact with the chelators in Fe, due to no answer and hundred views on the thread. Must be something else spooky in the tank now... H

    H2O2 and Fe

I have been thinking for a while now about whether it could be that Fe in the micronutrient is destroyed by hydrogen peroxide H2O2. I think the aquarium has poor growth shortly after a water change and nutrient addition. Is it known if the chelate in Fe (DTEA) is destroyed by H2O2 addition...

    Dosing calculation please

thanks dw1305. I will dose Fe in 0,1ppm. That will make it: 3,4 / 5 =0,68 gram per 100 liter. Now that is very small measurments. am i correct out here if I add 34 gram, to an 500ml bottle and from here add 10ml per 100liter. it should last to an 5000liter dosage and 0,1ppmFe. H

I have recived a package of micronutrients with chelates of EDTA and DTPA it says that it will be stable within Ph of 3,5-7,5 Not quite sure if it is safe to use in aquariums. Cu, Zn and Mn chelating agent are EDTA, and Fe is DTPA Is this a god Product and safe to use? H.
