    1-2 Grow Storage?

Both these species will store for a very long time in the fridge the althernathera being the leader of the two, sorry Ian. But there is a but. It depends how long and how your supplier kept them in ;)

Keeping Tropica 1-2-Grow pot for a longer period of time

Fridge is good advice but not all range will stay months healthy. It depends greatly on variety. Reineckii mini will hovewer stay long time in fridge as well as out in cool ambient light place with same sucsess.

    Anyone tried these low tech...

Hi Ian, both them will grow low tech no problems. Might be good to add low tech ferts, micros plus K. The thing with low tech tank looking good is to pack it with plants from day 1 as you wont see much of a change going on ;)

    Anubias melt !

Thanks Ceg. But i do not think it is due to that. I mean anubias would do well in any lighting and CO2. Must be something other. Wheather bacterial or transition from emersed? The same problem, ryzome rots, then leaves just fall apart. It is also a client aquarium. I am sure lights co2 ferts are...

Dying plants - can they be rescued?

Well if you performed daily changes filtration shouldnt be an issue. Must be something else i guess. Might be EC.

Dying plants - can they be rescued?

How long has it been there? Was there any filtration. Easy Carbo overdose is possible but you probably need to put 10-15ml to kill it. They can recover, yes.

    Trimming

Just make sure if you use kitchen roll or newspaper that they are PROPERLY soaked with water as otherwise they will absorb all water and the plant could end up dead. You could use a plastic bag wrapped in a towel or newsletter for further heat insulation. (better way imo)

New Anubias nana died for no reason

no, the rhizome was not burried, its really mysterios :( I think it was originally an aquafluor plant as i said the plant looked 100% healthy when i got it and when it disentegrated the leaves still looked healthy only the rhizome rotted.

    Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis pruning question.

Ok, i see then. So old cut leaves do not die then? I was thinking once you cut it the old leaves would die in some time replaced by the new growth. Will find out it soon anyway. You can only learn experimenting. Thanks a lot.

    Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis pruning question.

Hello, was on holidays for 5 weeks and my friends looked for the tank only occasionally. It turned out not that bad as i was expecting. The worst was lilaeopsis witch was all covered in algae. Trimmed it like a lawn so the question is will or will not it grow back :eh: and how it would have...

    Glossostigma elatinoides question

Yes, would be interesting to hear about that planting technique. I am actually trying to grow glosso in 2 tanks, the second of which has 180l and 105w of t8 lighting and FE co2, both will be fertilized with EI, the smaller tank has akadama, moss peat and some osmocote as a substrate and the 180...
