well done Mark, twas a lovely tank and it grew in super healthy! Seems you had a hand in lots of the UK entered photographs this year. Your flash advice for mine worked a treat thanks :)
Re: 30cm nano (16 liter)

How do you find the bolbitus in the nano, does it grow a bit too large as im thinking of uing it in my nano?
PS, welcome to the forum :)
Re: 120cm - George of the Jungle
Thanks George, Ill have a read of that lot later! Ive probably missed the thread as it was EI based which ive not got into much due to using tpn. Will be an interesting read by the looks of it.
Re: 120cm - George of the Jungle
Cheers George, havent seen them mentioned before. Are there any reviews on them and are the equivalent to TPN? (The link i read was dutch and i dont have a translator working on this pc)
PS, its great what Luis is doing for the school
Re: 120cm - George of the Jungle
tank looks great and so healthy George :) Is the sumatra buried in side somewhere in the jungle
Whats Aqua Rebel by the way?
The Sumatra is covered with Anubias, ferns and bolbitis, and hidden behind lots of other plants!
very nice setup there and great scape. Ive found it hard to do a good iwagumi with the Schist stone but youve really pulled it off here. Such healthy plant growth too

90x45x45cm ADA Entry 2010 by Stu Worrall, on Flickr
it was Graeme E that put me onto it steve as he did it with his a while back. ill dig out the bulb number tomorrow for the info and stick it in a new thread so andys doesnt go off on a tangent :)
Caught me! this is more like it but it was lacking plants and water!
Cheers andy
They do looks really nice steve although i do pander for a nice rectangular nano sometimes. The metal stand and light are quality although you do need to upgrade the 10w bulb to a 20w reflector to...
Well, i need to get some wider pictures but we have
90x45x45 at the far end of the lounge. currentlty surrounded by kids toys and a cabinet on the side.
60cm in the utility (currently a holding tank for plants until i rescape
Aquacube under the Plasma
Pico on the kitchen windowsill but...
Sorry ilaymir but I've got to say it. in your last posts i just havent got a clue what you're talking about :eh: The edges of the glass in these shots are clearly reflections, what else would they be, portholes to another world??????????
nice one george, looks really cool. Couple of questions. Whats the fish? looks really knarly :) Did you get any nasties from the collected plants or did you clean them somehow before you put them in the tank?
and wheres the tesco trolley?
Re: 120cm - The Crypt Eternal
very nice george. I bet a video of it would have been good to see teh right --> left sway of the plants.
Did you put anything under the substrate to make it intoa low tech tech with having no co2 injection?
very nice tank ivanmx and congrats on the placing. Is that a local stone youve got in the tank and do you have any other detail on youre setup like ferts, filter used, lighting etc?
that is cheap at the moment but i guess it will rocket up. I actually took delivery of a 4*24W t5 from EQJ last week. Got it for a good price of £52 delivered but after londondragons recent experience with them im hoping the balast will last out :(
its currently running just two bulbs while...
thanks, my three week pic was due last thursday on my journal in my sig but I havent got around to taking it yet. will try and get one up this weekend. I havent put as much HC in as you possibly as i got some given to me by dave spencer and one pot from TGM.
have you got any technical details on your tank? lighting, amount of TPN+ and easycarbo added plus the litres of water it holds? Interested to compare it to mine as mines been going around 3 weeks and the HC is still struggling.
did you take any pictures at startup?
This was my first attempt at a carpet but it fell over before it got anywhere. Dec 2006
This was my old setup in my Rio 125 which Ive currently revamped. Oct 2006
PS, would appreciate some photos of the arcadia on top of your tank if you have any as ive been struggling to get a decent priced 80cm luminaire.
thanks
how does the 100cm look on the 80cm Rio 125? does it stick out a bit?
If the rock is from TGM then it will be schist. i like the nice green tinge it has
very nice setup :D Like the angle of the stone, is is Schist?
I'd be interested to know what lighting youve got setup on the Rio to get 4 x 39w. Im currently running 4 x 18w and could do with more.
