Yes, i bought it from Co2 art. It says it specifically needed 4dKH water (which i had from APF for some time)

It goes clear after a couple of hours, then goes light faint blue in the morn

My drop checker always stays lime green.

Mine goes off pretty quickly to be honest.

I also use these regulators and they are awsome, well worth the money. Chris, they are easy to turn pal smooth as a baby seal.

Yes probably but I assumed it would be killed if its sitting in the bottle.

I pour it into a measuring jug and place it in there, then i just pour it back into the bottle once im done with it.. no wastage.

:) i only knew because i had to open my working pressure to almost 3.5 lol. I cleaned my glass diffuser once i saw algae growing on it. I used to soak it in Easy Carbo for an hour and then put it back in the tank, within 2 days it was like new.

I'm betting my left arm it's because of the working pressure not set high enough and you can't change it with your reg

Hi, i had the same problem. A) Soak the diffuser in water over night to loosen the ceramic so that bubbles can pass through, B) i upped my working pressure to around 3.5 bar C) Leave for at least 10-15 mins to see any difference. Thanks

What diffuser have you got first , mine is a normal ceramic and im set to 2 bar have to wait about half an hour for it to warm up proper.

How long have you waited mate they take a while to build up the pressure.

Co2 & ferts?? I can confirm that the single outlet works better than the double you get loads more flow from it.

Yeh alastair said it could be the co2 tubing but I bought it from aqua essentials and sure it was special co2 tubing.

Hi All, Alistair gave me a new diffuser yesterday which you can see below. My bubble counter is acting weird, can anyway tell me why its doing this (stopping and starting with the bubbles) i have currently set my pressure from 1.9 to 2.5 to allow the new diffuser to work. Cheers

Mikey what disposable bottle was the reg from, i bought a JBL Proflora 2 something.. and i needed the D-D thread converter only for it to work pal. I would recomond getting some rubber washers though to create a better seal. Cheers

Make sure you have a washer in the D-D Thread if you go down this route, i didint and couldnt make a proper seal. Have one now and works a treat. Cheers

You should be able to tell from the weight of it, plus your regulator should show you...

Tom, If its the JBL kit i had then this canister is not refillable and you will have to go down the Fire Extinguisher route like i did.

I don't think there is any difference in performance but someone may correct me. Only thing i can say is that with an inline diffuser i found that my co2 bubbles got distributed more around the tank when i used my spray bar.

I prefer the inline but i suppose its each to their own, i assume the pretty much do the same job its just the visual aspect of it being inside/outside of your tank.

It can go inside i believe, however i have mine outside of my tank it connects between tubing on your external filter and disperses Co2 from the outflow pipe into your tank.

Can someone please assist, my diffuser has water in the bottom of it i dont think this is normal? i then find my bubble counter is full of water! i can only hope my check valve was set up correct and no water got through! which direction should this check valve be to stop the water? Uploaded...

Actually, what i am looking at is not a non return valve, luckily i have one coming in the post today so it should be ok until then. Should it be set up like this. Cylinder > Check Valve > Bubble Counter > Diffuser?

Tom, I have a non return valve but it is on the pipe going into the tank if that makes sense, there isnt anything from the tubing from the bubble counter to the cylinder.

Matt, this morning i noticed a hissing sound coming from the bubble counter. On closer inspection little bit of water was around the connection on the bubble counter to the co2 tank. Is this a bad thing that water was in the tip of this pipe? if so why is it there?

Ah ok i understand now, i did wonder what they power heads were for! going back to the bubble per seconds, am i counting the bubbles via the bubble counter? if so, the buble counter doesnt release bubbles at a fast enough speed to have more than 1 a second? or am i being dumb

Matt, After getting my system today the manual says to aim for 10 bubbles a minute in the bubble counter, yet you say 3-4 a second why is the book saying 10? Also, the item didint actually come with a level indicator so im having to buy one seperate. Cheers
